Advanced Health Institute to Enter Talks with Minnesota Veterans Administration
Advanced Health Institute has approached the Minnesota Veterans Administration concerning its adoption of the AHI wound healing software.
Bloomington, MN, February 07, 2014 --(PR.com)-- AHI (Advanced Health Institute, Inc.), a wholly owned subsidiary of Singapore-based wound management technology group, IAHG (International Advanced Health Institute, Ltd.), has announced that it plans to enter into discussions with the Minnesota Veterans Administration over the adoption of its flagship Health Outcomes Operational Platform (HOOP) wound management software solution.
The talks which will be conducted through the Minneapolis VA Health Administration are aimed at delivering the flexibility of AHI’s cloud-enabled wound management system to Minnesota-based veterans in a bid to expedite healing of injuries and wounds suffered by servicemen returning from active duty in the Middle East and other parts of the world.
Advanced Health Institute’s Rodney McGee said, “Our innovative HOOP software platform and solution is ideal for helping streamline recovery times for those with wounds like ulcers associated with diabetes fresh diagnoses of which are still on the rise in the United States.”
“Minnesota has a relatively high Native American population and we are mindful of the fact that the Native Americans represent the ethnic group with the highest rate of diabetes mellitus in the United States. It is our view that this demographic could benefit enormously from the implementation of the HOOP software suite, particularly in light of the rising cost of health care in the state,” concluded Mr. McGee.
HOOP is an internet-based, cloud-enabled wound management system which, as well as being compatible with all desktop and mobile devices equipped with a browser, also complies with strict rules governing the protection of privacy of patient information in the US, Europe and several Asian jurisdictions. It delivers wound management reports, patient care plans and solutions while recording time savings on procedures and administration thereby freeing time for healthcare professionals to spend more time interacting with patients.
