Kitchen Tune-Up Awards Project of the Year to Boston Area Franchise
Jesse, Mike & Janice Dugan, franchise owners in the Boston area, are the winners of Kitchen Tune-Up's prestigious Project of the Year Award for 2013.
Aberdeen, SD, February 07, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Kitchen Tune-Up, the leading kitchen and bath remodeling franchise, has awarded Jesse, Mike & Janice Dugan, franchise owners in the Boston area, with the prestigious Project of the Year Award.
The honor was presented at Kitchen Tune-Up’s annual convention on January 24th in Tampa, Florida. To qualify for this award, a franchise must have won a Project of the Month award in the previous year. The twelve potential project winners are then voted on by the full franchise system. In addition to system recognition, the Dugans also receive an all expense paid cruise.
“Our franchise owners have the opportunity to choose the best kitchen make-over project of the year, and the Dugan family does outstanding work,” said Heidi Morrissey, VP of Marketing & Sales for Kitchen Tune-Up. The project involved a cabinet refacing using a distinctive rigid thermofoil (RTF) door called the HaglundRidge. This door style is exclusive to Kitchen Tune-Up clients and was designed by Mike Dugan himself at the request of a previous client. “Mike designed a door that is a modern style and a unique blend of a shaker and recessed panel. He kindly named the door style after our Kitchen Tune-Up Founder & President, David Haglund. It’s a very popular door and this project features it in white with pewter glazing, and in contrasting black on the island,” Morrissey continued.
Factors looked at in judging include how impressive or dramatic a change was achieved and what unique features were used. This is the second time the Dugans have received this award, as they were also the Project of the Year winners in 2009.
