The Global Supply Chain Leaders Group (GSCLG) is Calling for Nominations for the 2007 Chief Supply Chain Officer Award

Santa Clara, CA, September 28, 2007 --(PR.com)-- The Global Supply Chain Leaders Group (GSCLG) serves leaders of supply chain management in business, government, and other organizations, on a worldwide basis. The mission of the Group is to respond to the unique needs of leaders who are increasingly responsible for the profitable growth and health of their respective organizations.

The GSCLG is now calling for nominations for its 2007 Chief Supply Chain Officer Award. This Award honors leaders who have made a significant contribution to the advancement of the Supply Chain Management profession, as well as to the excellence of Supply Chain Management within their respective organizations. It will be presented on an annual basis to one most deserving individual. The 2007 recipient will be announced during the Annual Global Supply Chain Leaders Group Forum, to be held March 13 -14, 2008, in San Francisco, CA.

Nominations for the 2007 Award are due to the GSCLG by no later than December 21, 2007. Nominations should include the following:

An introduction to the nominee and explaining why he or she is proposed for the Award. This document serves as the nominator's letter of reference.

Contact information for both the nominee and the nominator.

After receipt of the nominations, the GSCLG Award Committee will review and select the most deserving recipient. This person will be honored during the Event and a donation will be made to the charity of his/ her preference in their name.
