Essex, CT, February 14, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Underwater Construction Corporation (UCC), a global service provider for underwater services, has launched its new branch office in Wisconsin. The company, which already has offices in Michigan, Connecticut and Tennessee, wants to expand its operations with the launch of this branch office.
UCC has planned to provide the same levels of standard and specialty services under general categories of inspection, maintenance, construction and technical support in its Wisconsin office. The move is a part of UCC’s strategic expansion into the Midwest, with multiple licensed USCG vessel captains in the area. The company will continue to provide commercial dive services and specialty services, with multiple project managers specializing in different disciplines. Impingement and entrainment services that are in compliance with 316B will be provided in addition to others, like underwater bridge inspection, underwater welding, and pipeline inspection.
UCC is credited with the first dry-box tig weld repair, the first major underwater rehab of a large marine aquarium, the first nuclear dive, the first safety-related weld repair inside a nuclear reactor vessel among many such precedents. The company has set and abided by a stringent level of safety for commercial diving and believes that both safety is an economic imperative. UCC has delivered projects in Midwestern USA, South America, Europe, and eastern Asia.
Underwater Construction Services by UCC has seen success in different projects lately. The bridge inspection team of the company performed successful inspections around the Mackinac Bridge that it had been contracted for, in mid-2012. Many other precedents have helped UCC maintain its reputation as a leading corporation providing inspection, maintenance, infrastructure and technical services in its field.
