Para-Plus Translations Hosts Open House in New Location
Language translation and interpretation business invited business partners to tour new office headquarters in Cherry Hill, N.J.
Cherry Hill, NJ, February 14, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Para-Plus Translations, Inc. (www.para-plus.com), a leading provider of comprehensive global translation and interpretation services, welcomed local officials and community members to tour the company’s new home in Cherry Hill, N.J. during an open house on Jan. 30, 2014.
Representatives from the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, of which Para-Plus is an active member, joined company founder Sonia M. Santiago and her sons, Chief Operations Officer Robert Santiago III and Vice President Carlos Santiago, for an official ribbon-cutting ceremony. Guests celebrated the company’s recent move and the more than 30 years of growth that has led Para-Plus to become a leading provider of foreign language services.
“At Para-Plus Translations, we pride ourselves on breaking down barriers to communication,” said Robert Santiago. “Our new headquarters puts that principle into action, as it removes the physical barriers that once separated our departments, enabling our teams to work more efficiently together to serve our clients.”
Para-Plus bridges communication gaps, giving ‘voice’ to individuals to better communicate in today’s global market. Company founder Sonia Santiago knows firsthand how frustrating that barrier can be. She didn’t speak English when she first arrived in the United States, so she understands the importance of accurate and responsive translation and interpretation.
After years of translating and interpreting for clients in the legal industry, Sonia founded Para-Plus in 1980. She guided its growth for years and then handed the reins over to her two sons.
“Watching Robert and Carlos continue to grow Para-Plus into the company it is today makes me incredibly proud,” said Sonia.
Previously located in Barrington, N.J., Para-Plus relocated to Cherry Hill in November 2013. The new space on Coleman Avenue offers 4,500 more square footage than the company’s previous office space, providing the family-owned company plenty of space in which to flourish for another 30 years.
Para-Plus Translations is a Certified Women-Owned and Certified Minority-Owned Business with memberships in both Philadelphia WBENC and the PA-NJ-DE Minority Supplier Development Council. It has been named among The Legal Intelligencer’s “Best of” in 2012 and 2013, one of America’s Fastest Growing Private Companies according to Inc.
