Fifth Magnolia Conference Introduces New Digital Marketing Track, Adds Workshop Day
Conference to be held June 24 - 26, 2014 in Basel Switzerland
Miami, FL, February 15, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Magnolia, the open source Java content management system (CMS) company, has announced the initial details for Magnolia Conference 2014. The event will be held June 24 - 26 in the Pathé Küchlin Cinema, Basel, Switzerland. Following last year’s successful event with more than 200 Magnolia developers, users and partners from across the globe, Magnolia has secured the multiplex cinema again.
Magnolia Conference 2014 will deliver a mix of hands-on workshops, business case studies, technical presentations and digital marketing talks. The event will provide insights for everyone from non-technical newcomers to the most experienced end-users.
This year’s conference introduces two significant structural changes. Firstly, Magnolia will run a third digital marketing conference track in addition to the business and technical tracks.
“Magnolia is is used by some of the world’s biggest brands – customers like Nissan, Allianz and Sony. We are excited to finally offer their marketing teams a dedicated track at the Magnolia Conference. It will be an excellent opportunity for Marketing Technologists to catch up with real-world marketing challenges and approaches to solving them,” says Boris Kraft, Co-founder and CTO, Magnolia International.
Secondly, the first day of this year’s conference will now consist of a selection of hands-on workshops, led by Magnolia staff members. The workshops will be open to all. Topics include apps development, Spring framework integration and more.
The full program is available here: http://www.magnolia-cms.com/conference/program.html
Early bird registration is available until March 31st, 2014. The call for papers is now open with a deadline for submitting papers by April 1.
