Mellon Technologies Joins Gr Vending at HORECA International Trade Show
The two companies showcased Ingenico’s self-service solutions "iSelf series" for vending machines.
Piraeus, Greece, February 20, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Gr Vending and Mellon Technologies joined their forces to showcase Ingenico’s self-service solutions ‘iSelf series’ for vending machines during the 9th International Trade Show HORECA that took place in Athens Greece last weekend.
The iSelf series accept all cashless payments including contactless and NFC, and can be easily integrated to both new vending machines and vending machines that are already in operation. These solutions operate complementary to the existing cash acceptance system of the vending machines, offering more payment options to the customers.
This new proposition from Mellon Technologies and Gr Vending attracted the attention of many professionals visiting the exhibition, and especially of those located in tourist areas of Greece since card payments are very popular with tourists and the lack of acceptance points might lead to lost sales.
“The option to pay by card will allow the use of vending machines for the sale more high-end products, like mobile phones and accessories, an increasingly popular trend in other countries,” commented George Gousetis, Managing Director of Gr Vending.
“Robust and easy to integrate, the iSelf series from Ingenico, in partnership with Mellon Technologies, enables the owners of vending machines to accept all cashless payment options via all credit and debit cards, as well as contactless transactions, helping them to increase sales and cut complexity in payment and security,” said Manos Perdikaris, Business Unit Manager at Mellon Technologies.
