Steve Maher is the creator of The Ecstatic Embrace. What began as a simple vision during meditation in 2000 has become an abiding passion to share this simple, but deeply healing activity with the world. Steve has been a lifelong student of personal growth, exploring conventional religious experience, a variety of alternative practices, most notably Buddhist meditation, 12 Step recovery, and Core Energetics: a body-centered therapeutic method.

In 2013, Steve finished a four year course at Ann Bradney’s Radical Aliveness Core Energetics Institute in order to become a certified Core practitioner. Steve sees clients privately in individual sessions, and he leads small group workshops as well.
