SouthCreek Pizza Co. Serving Hand Crafted-Wood Fired-Brick Oven Pizza is Now Open in Reno, NV
Reno, NV, March 01, 2014 --(PR.com)-- SouthCreek Pizza Co. now open in South Reno is a locally owned family business, run by husband and wife team Michael and Linda Madan and their Pizziaolo son, Ian Madan. SouthCreek Pizza Co. focuses on using the freshest local and internationally sourced products to present the highest quality handcrafted pizza possible.
The artisan Neapolitan style dough is made from "00" flour imported from Naples and cold fermented for more than 48 hrs. This develops a soft and elastic thin crust with deep flavors. In addition, Chef Ian makes the fresh mozzarella daily. The counters overlook the open kitchen, where one can sit, relax and watch as the pizzas bake in about 90 seconds at 900 degrees in the Naples made Stephano Ferarra brick oven. In addition to the Hand Crafted--Wood Fired--Brick Oven Pizza, there are unique and traditional Salads, Salumi and Cheese Boards and Small Plates including homemade Meatballs, Wood Fired Roasted Green Beans and Garlic Shrimp.
The extensive Beer and Wine selections are carefully chosen by Linda, Mike and Ian. In addition to wines available by the glass and bottle, there are four beers and two wines on tap. Currently SouthCreek Pizza Co. is the only restaurant in Northern Nevada offering Simi Cabernet Sauvignon and J Vineyards Pinot Gris on tap by the glass, half carafe or full carafe. Linda’s fruity White and Red Sangria are made fresh daily as well.
