Moiz Bhamani Gives Address to Athabasca University Graduates
Moiz Bhamani of Prime Real Estate Group (www.theprimegroup.ca) shares his experience of undertaking his MBA degree while building a successful business to the Athabasca University Graduate class of 2012 during the formal dinner.
Calgary, Canada, March 05, 2014 --(PR.com)-- AU MBA graduate Moiz Bhamani of Prime Real Estate Group (www.theprimegroup.ca) shares his experience of undertaking his MBA degree while building a successful business to the Athabasca University Graduate class of 2012 during the formal dinner.
Completing his MBA while at the same time building a business empire was certainly a challenge; however, it was the newfound knowledge he gained that would soon become the catalyst that drove his business to new heights. Today Moiz Bhamani leads a full-service commercial real estate and investment firm based in Calgary, employing over 20 full-time executive staff and numerous consultants and contractors, and a growing portfolio valued over $250 Million CDN.
His company Prime Real Estate Group develops and owns commercial real estate such as business parks, shopping centres, and office complexes located primarily in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Texas, USA. Tenants include oil and gas companies, the federal government, Alberta Health Services and CIBC branches to name a few.
"I was absolutely thrilled to be sharing my insights with Athabasca University peers, and as this formal dinner speaker it was important for me to stress to my graduating class how each one of us truly has to power to change the world," said Moiz Bhamani. “I have had a great deal of success in a relatively short amount of time, and much of that, I owe to Athabasca University and their support.”
Bhamani also served on the AU Graduate Students' Association for two years, as a representative of the Faculty of Business while he was a student. As an alumnus, he keeps in touch with fellow grads and encourages new MBA students to get in touch should they need advice.
The Athabasca University MBA alumnus and multi-million dollar success story was recently awarded 2013 ‘The Rising Star Award’. This award honors alumni’s who demonstrate leadership attributes and those who have made significant contributions to their areas of expertise early in their career.
“I like to recognize Athabasca University for making me a believer of the importance of investing in ones education and making my experience so wonderful and worthwhile. I am a believer of work for love; work hard at it and top it with education and knowledge – you will win – whatever your definition of winning is,” said Moiz Bhamani to the graduating class.
