Marmalade Cross Platform Mobile App Development by Riaxe
Bhubaneswar, India, March 07, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Riaxe is elated to announce that it has forayed into Marmalade development. Riaxe is keeping its trend of experimenting with unusual platforms. To recall a bit of history, Riaxe has successfully worked on Adobe ColdFusion – one platform that very few dare to make their hands dirty on. Riaxe has been working on an American Insurance company project using ColdFusion for some years now. Apart from that, an office tracking and management software, named Ofixe is in the works.
Riaxe Systems has made sure that they make the best use out of Marmalade. They have made Doraemon - Dress up, an avatar building game using it. It has met with a good number of downloads and there is a good demand for in-apps, as per the company. What makes Marmalade well suited to such apps, is the fact it is highly flexible and extremely easy to learn. “Seems like it was custom-made for 2D games and apps,” explains Kathy Jones, tech lead of the Marmalade development team at Riaxe. “…and it is extremely easy to learn too” she continues. The simpler learning curve comes from the fact that Marmalade has also introduced Marmalade Quick, a cross platform mobile app development tool that requires very little programming knowledge to work on. Marmalade Quick uses Cocos2d-x, Box2D and Lua scripting language, and Riaxe believes it is an important step for fresh developers to get an idea on how things work on the app world.
“The company is extremely positive with the response of the first app in Marmalade. We have decided to continue our experiments on these platforms, and we are also hopeful that Marmalade is going to be big, having a potential to be a threat to other leading frameworks. We are planning to include Marmalade Quick in our training programs for young minds as an intro,” says Jones.
About: Riaxe is a decade old offshore IT company based in India. Starting with rich internet applications, the company forayed in web, mobile and desktop cross platform app development services. Clientele includes Coca Cola, Citibank, BMW, Quizdom, Milward Insurance and many more.
