Babette Albin, a long-time activist on the New York poetry scene, is pleased to feature for the Brownstone Poets one again. Her work is dynamic as are her presentations, filled with witty observations, rich political/historical content and a flare for the dramatic. Having enjoyed the success of seeing her four children graduate from college, Babette has returned to school to fill in the gaps. She is studying Russian History and Literature and can tell you everything you wanted to know about Vladimir Putin but were afraid to ask.
Richard Fein was a finalist in The 2004 New York Center for Book Arts Chapbook Competition. A Chapbook of his poems was published by Parallel Press, University of Wisconsin, Madison. He has been published in many web and print journals such as: Reed, Southern Review, Roanoke Review, Skyline Magazine, Birmingham Poetry Review, Mississippi Review, Paris/atlantic, Canadian Dimension, and many others.
