Solar Innovations, Inc. Releases Motorized Options for G3 Sliding Glass Door System
Solar Innovations, Inc., a custom manufacturer of sliding glass doors; greenhouses; conservatories; folding and stacking walls, doors, windows, and screens; sunrooms; and skylights, releases motorized options for its G3 sliding glass door system.
Pine Grove, PA, March 10, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Solar Innovations, Inc. now offers motorized options for its new G3 sliding glass door system. The G3 system was acoustically certified with a STC rating of 42 and an OTIC rating of 36. The system is designed to a DP of ±65 (for 5' X 10' panels), with impacting testing in process. The new motorized units are well suited for both residential and commercial applications, with certain motorized options subject to local code approval. Motorization is an available option for new construction or can be retrofitted to accommodate previously installed sliding glass doors and windows in certain situations.
Modern architecture demands larger openings, delivered by incorporating large sized panels and greater numbers of panels into sliding door units; making motorization even more essential. The motorization of a sliding glass door system can eliminate the time and energy spent opening the doors. With the simple flip of a switch, end users can set their doors in motion and go about their business.
Solar Innovations, Inc.’s motorized sliding glass doors have multiple control options, the doors can be operated through the use of wall mounted switches, exterior security keypads, or remote control. In case of a power outage, the sliding glass doors can be manually operated with the same easy one handed maneuverability of Solar’s traditional sliding glass doors.
The motorized door’s “crawl mode” reduces the speed of the door as it nears the closed position. This prevents damage by limiting the impact applied to the sliding door’s frame.
Solar Innovations, Inc. has designed the motorized G3 sliding glass door system to accommodate a wide array of engineering requirements while maintaining architectural appeal. Unobstructed sight lines are achieved by minimizing framing. The thermally-broken frame coupled with the use of insulated glazing units provides a system that is not only motorized, but energy efficient as well.
All of Solar Innovations, Inc.’s dual track and multi-track sliding door configurations can accommodate motorization. Pocket and no post sliding glass door configurations can also be motorized to provide a true open space where door panels retract into a wall and out of sight.
Solar Innovations, Inc.’s door and window experts can design custom motorization solutions based on your requirements. Sizes, colors, and glazing selection can also be tailored to fit specific architectural requirements.
