Warmup Begins Showcasing New Radiant Floor Heating Thermostat Collection at KBIS
World’s first touch-screen, energy monitoring thermostat for heated floors is getting a facelift.
Danbury, CT, March 09, 2014 --(PR.com)-- How homeowners warm their floors is changing. Warmup Inc., the world’s best-selling electric floor heating brand, is excited to announce that its innovative 3iE™, the first and only touch-screen, energy monitoring thermostat for in floor heating, is getting a facelift—literally.
The transformation began in early 2014 when Warmup called upon design students and professional designers nationwide to present a new faceplate for the 3iE™. It is currently available in black, silver, white, cream, blue, green, pink and purple. During the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) in Las Vegas, viewing of the new faceplates began at the Warmup booth.
“KBIS served as a great outlet to share our radiant heating products, especially the 3iE™,” said Regis Verliefde, CEO of Warmup. “Attendees enjoyed exploring the 3iE™ too. We showed them the five new colors, and they had to select their favorite one. Then, we took a Polaroid picture of them. It was the perfect way to get everyone involved and showcase our amazing product.”
Attendees were also able to check out the new rim colors of the 3iE™, which include chrome and bronze. Booth visitors ranged from reporters to architects to design stars such as Jeff Devlin of HGTV’s Spice Up My Kitchen, Bryan Beaumler of HGTV’s House of Bryan and Disaster DIY and Karl Champley of DIY Network’s Wasted Spaces.
“Experts at KBIS gave us some interesting insight into new color trends, and we might add one or two colors regarding their advice,” continued Verliefde.
Featuring advanced energy monitoring and a built-in ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI), the user-friendly 3iE™ displays actual graphs of recorded energy consumption against costs gathered while operating the in floor heating systems in the home. The 3iE™ then makes recommendations for the most efficient settings to operate the system. Therefore, it saves users more money than traditional digital thermostats.
The change in heating is coming, and the 3iE™ will look even more amazing. For more information about the 3iE™, visit www.3iethermostat.com. For details on Warmup’s in floor heating systems, visit www.warmup.com.
