SwaggHER Fitness Announces New Pilates Exercise Classes
Get in Shape with a SwaggHER Fitness Pilates Class!
Belleville, IL, March 12, 2014 --(PR.com)-- In an effort to help the community live a healthy and fit life SwaggHER Fitness announces new Pilates exercise classes beginning March 18th at SwaggHER Fitness in Belleville. Classes will be held on Tuesdays from 9:00am to 10:00am.
No experience is necessary and the first class is free.
Pilates (puh-LA-teez) is a form of exercise originally available only to professional dancers, top athletes, supermodels, and Hollywood celebrities. Now every one in the MetroEast with a desire to improve their overall health can discover the benefits that professionals have known for decades.
This unique form of physical and mental conditioning was developed by Joseph H. Pilates in the early 1920’s. Based on yoga, martial arts, Zen Meditation, and Greek and Roman exercises, Pilates is a very gentle, yet extremely effective form of exercise that can be practiced for a lifetime. It improves sports performance and posture and can also alleviate back pain. Pilates focuses on creating flat abdominals, slender thighs and strong backs while increasing flexibility and agility.
