TraceSecurity Takes Home Double Gold at 10th Annual Info Security Products Guide Awards
San Francisco, CA, February 25, 2014 --(PR.com)-- TraceSecurity, the pioneer in cloud-based IT governance, risk and compliance (GRC) solutions, today announced that Info Security Products Guide, the industry's leading information security research and advisory guide, has named the company a Gold Award winner in two competitive categories at the 2014 Global Excellence Awards Program, held last evening at the 2014 RSA Security Conference in San Francisco, CA.
TraceSecurity won Gold for Best Product Enhancement for the NIST risk assessment update of its flagship software solution, TraceCSO. TraceCSO is the industry’s first and only complete, cloud-based IT governance, risk and compliance solution designed to meet the needs of organizations of any size, industry or security skill set. Josh Stone, the company’s director of product management, was also recognized with a Bronze Award for his key leadership in the development of TraceCSO and in Shaping Information Security. TraceCSO picked up an additional bronze last night in the Risk Management category.
The company won its second Gold this year for Best Supporting the Partners Program. Launched just last March, the TraceSecurity Partner Program is designed to provide managed service providers, consultants and value added resellers the ability to offer comprehensive security services and IT GRC products to their clients. At the end of last year, the partner initiative had already signed up 50 program participants, including Choice Solutions, 4A Security, MMIC, Castle Ventures and Jacadis. Rackspace Hosting joined the program this month, and TraceSecurity expects to include additional partner providers throughout the year.
“We started TraceSecurity with the simple goals of solving customer problems faster, quicker, and easier than anyone else,” said President and CEO Peter Stewart, reflecting on this latest industry recognition. “These awards validate our strategy, and we remain focused on making market-leading IT GRC management solutions available to a broader sphere of the marketplace.”
