Butler County Ford Owner, Cathy Glasgow, Named as BusinessWomen First Award Recipient
Butler, PA, March 16, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The Pittsburgh Business Times has included Cathy Glasgow, owner of Butler County Ford, as a 2014 BusinessWomen First award winner.
Twenty-five influential business women in the Pittsburgh region are awarded for their business leadership, community involvement, and volunteer activities. The award recipients were honored at a dinner and awards ceremony on March 13th at the Omni William Penn.
Glasgow is the third-generation owner of Butler County Ford, following in her father and grandfather’s footsteps. Under her direction, Glasgow has led the dealership to having the fastest growth in car and truck sales for the zone.
“I am greatly honored to be included in a group with such talented, successful, and generous local women. I have always put emphasis on not only working hard, but also on giving back to the community. I feel that it’s important to share your time and talent with those who need it most, and I plan to always make this a focus in my life,” said Glasgow.
Besides her professional accomplishments, Glasgow has shared her talents as a board member or chairperson with local organizations such as the Visiting Nurses of Western PA, the Butler Downtown Board, the Greater Pittsburgh Automobile Dealer Association, and the Capital Campaign for In-Patient Hospice Efforts. Glasgow is also an active member of the Rotary Club of Butler.
