School Renovation Wraps Up with Vitrabondâ„¢ Facade

Estabrook Elementary School, Lexington, Massachusetts, USA - an innovative new way to use aluminum composite panel with a standard metallic finish.

Lexington, MA, March 21, 2014 --(PR.com)-- When the Estabrook Elementary School Study, a new build and renovation project, was in full swing in 2011, All-Panel Systems of Branford, CT got on board to furnish and install composite metal panels for the exteriors of the building.

"Fairview worked directly with architect DiNisco Designs of Boston," said Elmer Demers, Project Manager from All-Panel. "They had great input regarding the use of Vitrabond to fit the project budget and had the materials in a timely fashion. The amounts were spot-on."

To complete the project, All-Panel used 15,190 sf of 4 mm fire-rated core in color Champagne (VB9205) and 2.532 sf of color Rubis Red (VB1685.) Additionally, 13,200 sf of Champagne and 400 sf of Rubis Red .040 flashing material were used.

Exterior work recently wrapped up with clean, unique look, thanks to the expertise of All-Panel and the vision of DiNisco using alternating directions in the panels to reflect light in a variety of ways around the building. DiNisco has a large portfolio of school renovations. Shawmut Design & Construction of Boston, also with a large academic buildings portfolio, was on board as contractor.
