Benefits Consulting Firm Hosts Educational Event to Inform Local Businesses About Healthcare Reform and Its Impact on Employers.
Greenville, NC, March 21, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Hill, Chesson & Woody (HCW), a health and welfare benefits brokerage and consulting firm that designs, manages and implements employee benefit programs, is hosting an educational seminar on Wednesday, March 26. This free seminar will be held at the Hilton Greenville, located at 207 SW Greenville Blvd. The program is the first of a three-part series led by HCW called Get Smarter, and is intended to help prepare North Carolina employers for the impacts of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) on their health and welfare benefit plans.
As the first event of the series, this seminar will focus on the new rules employers face as the ACA comes into full swing and will present some of the new technologies that have recently been developed to assist with gathering and reporting data employers need to stay compliant. Tools for tracking employee hours for measurement periods and other required reform related filings will be presented, as well as the reasons employers need to evaluate these tools now.
