ISMG Hires Managing Director for Middle East, India, and South East Asia Practice
Princeton, NJ, March 22, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Information Security Media Group (ISMG), publisher of InfoRiskToday, announces the hiring of its Managing Director for the Middle East, India, and South East Asia practice, Sameer Saxena.
Saxena, who has 13 years of experience working in India, Bahrain, Singapore and Australia, brings an extensive background and understanding of the information security and risk management trends in the APAC/EMEA regions.
"Being part of a continuing evolution with a premier information security media company that has such a strong team, products and potential ... I am extremely excited about the challenging role and look forward to it," Saxena says.
He will be responsible for extending ISMG's region-specific news, education, and insight, as well as initiating ISMG's editorial, sales and general operations.
Saxena's immediate focus will be on initiating an in-person summit series, defining educational offerings and developing security vendor partnerships in the APAC/EMEA regions.

He will also work to leverage existing capabilities and strategize on new business opportunities.
Previously, Saxena was an advisor to NASSCOM on the development of the National Occupational Skills (NOS) for Cyber Security. He has also worked as a consultant for the World Bank, been an ISO with a stock brokering firm, and contributed to various information security publications.
