Dashboard Migrator for SAP BusinessObjects Design Studio

The Dashboard Migrator is a plug-in that lets you leverage your existing SAP BusinessObjects Dashboards (formerly known as Xcelsius) development in the new SAP BusinessObjects BI 4.1 Design Studio environment. Using the Dashboard Migrator, dashboard developers can embed Xcelsius components and complete dashboards in their Design Studio projects.

The Dashboard Migrator facilitates the migration process by allowing organizations to migrate to Design Studio early and leverage their existing Dashboards components and dashboards in the new environment. It allows platform managers to manage their migration timelines and dashboard design resources more effectively. It also allows them to use many third-party extensions designed for Dashboards in Design Studio.
The initial release of the APOS Dashboard Migrator delivers Xcelsius dashboards to Design Studio in HTML5 format, and Design Studio can pass parameters to Dashboards to determine context and content. Dashboards can access data via UNX universe or Query as a Web Service (QaaWS). APOS CTO Ofir Gil noted: "This is a project we undertook in collaboration with SAP. Upcoming releases of the Dashboard Migrator will include support for SWF dashboards, bi-directional parameters, and enhanced data transfer support."
