John Farrow Receives RRP Designation from American Resort Development Association
ARDA designates John Farrow as RRP, Registered Resort Professional.
Santa Rosa, CA, March 28, 2014 --(PR.com)-- John Farrow, President and CEO of FARROW Commercial Construction, a nationwide commercial construction company based in Santa Rosa, CA has just been awarded the Registered Resort Professional designation from ARDA (American Resort Development Association).
According to John Farrow RRP, the designation is one that “comes with great distinction. I am proud to be associated with the elite leaders of ARDA and this ‘label’ is tangible evidence of the degree that I make industry knowledge a top priority.”
The AIF (ARDA International Foundation) includes Professional Development as one of its main tenets. It administers the RRP Qualification Test. Individuals who earn this designation set an example in the industry as a leader by getting more involved and demonstrating the importance of continuous learning.
This program requires a minimum of 5 years of industry experience and a total of 10 credits that can be earned in a variety of ways including but not limited to: attending ARDA events, authoring publications, serving on an ARDA committee, completing industry specific courses, attending AIF Webinars.
Farrow also chairs the trade association’s Construction and Design Council as well as being a sought-after speaker at education sessions at ARDA World (the trade show and convention) as well as regional ARDA events. He most recently won Perspective Magazine’s Best Service Provider award at GNEX 2014. His column The Farrow Files appears monthly in The Resort Trades.
