Jack Harris to Emcee Taste of South Tampa
The South Tampa Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce local personality Jack Harris will emcee the 9th Annual Taste of South Tampa on April 13th in Hyde Park. The festival features unlimited food and beverage samples, live entertainment and family friendly activities for one inclusive price.
Tampa, FL, March 28, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The South Tampa Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce local personality Jack Harris will emcee the 9th Annual Taste of South Tampa on April 13th! Harris is a long time Tampa resident and fan favorite. Harris is the co-host of AMTampa Bay on 970WFLA from 5 to 9 am daily, co-host of the Mayor’s Hour with Mayor Bob Buckhorn, the voice of the Tampa Bay Storm and the Outback Bowl, the voice of Tampa International Airport and more.
About The Taste of South Tampa: Presented by Older & Lundy Family Law, the Taste of South Tampa is the South Tampa Chamber of Commerce's signature annual event. Hyde Park Village is transformed into an outdoor festival offering live entertainment, beer, wine and soda along with an array of delicious food samples from various local restaurants.
This family friendly event will feature a Kids Zone with complimentary face painting, Lil Mac Fire Truck and other fun activities! Our new Pet Zone will include treats and wading pools for the pups! A portion of the ticket sales from this year’s event will benefit Metropolitan Ministries. Sponsors of the event include Tampa Bay Times, Breezin Entertainment, TECO, Veterinary Medical Center & Urgent Pet Care of South Tampa, Yelp, Clear Channel Outdoor and Verizon. Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn will also be in attendance to kick off the event.
The ticket price is all inclusive and includes: Unlimited food and beverage samples, live entertainment, access to activities in the Kid and Pet Zones, give-aways from exhibitors, opportunity to win prizes by participating in the canned food drive and voting for the “Best of South Tampa” awards. Discounted ticket prices are available online at www.TasteofSouthTampa.com until April 11th. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the door - $45 General Admission, $30 for Military.
The event will also feature a food drive for Metropolitan Ministries! For each non-perishable food item donated, attendees will receive an entry into a drawing for prizes from participating restaurants!
