The Basement Doctor Wants to Know if You Are Columbus' Next Singing Star
The Basement Doctor is a proud sponsor of National Singing Star - The Columbus Competition. This fun and charitable event kicks off with Open Call Auditions on March 30 at 1:00 p.m., at The Mall at Tuttle Crossing. Profits benefit Nationwide Children's Hospital.
Columbus, OH, March 28, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The Basement Doctor is proud to be a part of The National Singing Star The Columbus Competition. National Singing Star welcomes performers of all ages to compete in this fun and charitable singing competition benefiting Nationwide Children’s Hospital. There is no fee to enter. The open call auditions will be held at The Mall at Tuttle Crossing on Sunday, March 30, 1 – 5 p.m., and on Monday, March 31, from 3 - 8 p.m. Those continuing on in the competition will participate in the Preliminary Showcase at Quaker Steak & Lube Polaris on Tuesday, April 1, 1- 5 p.m. Semifinals will be April 7 and 8, from 4 - 9 p.m. The final showcase will take place April 21 and 22, from 4 – 9 p.m. Winners will be announced at an Awards Finale at a later date.
A $500 cash prize and Singing Star Trophy will be awarded to the competition winner along with the title of “Columbus’ Singing Star.” The winner will also receive a television appearance, professional booking opportunities and a chance to compete for the national title. Admission is $10 to all showcases, which includes 10 voting tickets. Additional votes can be purchased throughout the competition showcases and profits from vote tickets go to Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
