Actress Elle Viane Sonnet Teams Up with Lead Makeup Designer Brittany Fontaine, and Her Crew, for an Elaborate Special Effects Makeup Demo at the 2014 Monsterpalooza

Monsterpalooza is an annual event that focuses on the practical effects side of movie magic. Artists come to display their sculpts, makeups, figures, puppets, and Monster artwork. They also have a Monster Museum with many iconic works.

Team includes Elle Viane Sonnet, creature and character actress (Space Command, Star Trek: Phoenix, MIDLIFE, Chicly Geek); Brittany Fontaine, lead makeup artist (Halloween Horror Nights, Hansel & Gretel); Rebecca Hurwitz, MakeUp Application Assistant; Norah Stahl, Sculpt and Pre-MakeUp Fabrication; and wardrobe by Leah Bubeck and Sarah Wilkins. They will be joining other demo teams at the Bone Yard Effects booth, featuring Makeup Artists from Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios, courtesy of Larry Bones.

The team has been working these past weeks in preparation for the demo. Starting at 11AM they will transform Elle Viane Sonnet into a creature that Fontaine describes, "from a planet much like Venus, an empress and very opulent."
