Rich Michalowski moved to Los Angeles (from San Diego) in 1991 to study Guitar at Pepperdine University in Malibu, later transferring and graduating from the University of Southern California. After graduation Rich decided to stay in Los Angeles (a city he fell in love with) and began his career as a music journalist for the now defunct industry newspaper R&R (Radio & Records – Century City).

After developing strong relationships through his radio based music column Rich launched a successful 14 year independent record promotion career - which included consulting for Interscope Records – championing albums from Amy Winehouse, Dave Matthews Band & Queens Of The Stone Age to name a few. In between promoting albums from national artists, Rich also embarked on a recording career releasing music through Warner Music in the UK as well as Sony in the US & Japan. Through the guidance of several music associates now working in real estate, Rich found his next passion; finding and selling homes for others.
