Hawk Trade Secures Seed Capital for Gerontology Solutions
Gerontology Solutions has won substantial development funding after delighting investors with exceptional results from animal testing of new treatment.
Tokyo, Japan, March 30, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Gerontology Solutions, a pioneering life-sciences start-up concern focused on the development of cutting edge treatments and solutions aimed at combating the aging process in humans has secured unrestricted access to an initial tranche of development funding from Tokyo-based private equity facilitators, Hawk Trade.
“They’ve made some breath-taking advances with their anti-aging treatment, code-named Regenoderm,” said a Hawk Trade spokesperson.
Regenoderm, which seeks to achieve the holy-grail of the cosmetics industry – specifically the growth of regenerative collagen in skin – reportedly, produced “astonishing” results during controlled trials on rodents using a nano-scale deployment of a common compound’s long carbon chain and the peptide of five amino acids attached to one end.
Gerontology Solutions, whose key personnel are Chinese-born biotechnology innovators, has won plaudits for its work from a number of celebrated luminaries within the life-sciences industry. The company says it fully intends to continue its animal based testing until such time as it identifies the most viable solution for humans.
A spokesman for Gerontology Solutions said that the initial funding would go towards the construction of bespoke molecular manipulation equipment for the Regenoderm treatment and provide cash injections for its cancer drug anti-rejection treatment.
Hawk Trade is committing to a funding facility of $35 million to be distributed according to requirements. In return, it will acquire an undisclosed, but likely majority percentage, stake in Gerontology Solutions stock.
