Nirvino Releases Version 1.0

Successful Completion of Beta Testing Leads to First Version Launch

Palo Alto, CA, October 06, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Today Nirvino announced the release of Version 1.0 of its wine recommendation platform, an innovative technology that aggregates wine critic reviews into a single score.

Nirvino's technology leverages combined data from print, online, and broadcast wine critics to create one score called the "Nirvino Rating". Each rated wine is displayed with a simple "good" or "bad" moniker to provide a straightforward experience for Nirvino users. Nirvino also provides users with the ability to search for wines by name, rating, price, region, winery, store, grape, vintage, and flavor profile.

"We got a lot of positive feedback on the simplistic and easy-to-use nature of our beta interface and design. So, we tried to stay true to that with Version 1.0 and focus on providing more power with less frills. We're happy to reach our first major milestone by delivering according to the schedule laid out last year when the beta version went live." said Tim Anderson, product manager of Nirvino.com.

Nirvino is powered by a database of close to 200,000 wines and critic reviews from over 11,000 wineries and 2,300 wine regions worldwide. The company plans to keep expanding the database, adding features, and forging new partnerships over the next year.
