The World Beverage Competition (WBC) opens its doors to new participants for the 2008 competition slated for November 2007.
Genève, Switzerland, October 06, 2007 --(PR.com)-- The World Beverage Competition (WBC) opens its doors to new participants for the 2008 competition slated for November 2007. The competitions distinguished history will bring a large and diverse participant base this year, in part due to the huge press and media reach of the event. Each year since 1991 the entries have exceeded 10,000 brands, this year is expected to be much the same.
“Small” and “mid sized” beverage brands are given the chance to compete on a fair playing field alongside major beverage conglomerates such as Brown Foreman, Gallo, Dannon, Bacardi and Pepsico for the honor of being adorned with awards from the World Beverage Competition. Since 2005 all of the World Beverage Competitions are judged simultaneously including the World Spirits Competition (www.SpiritsCompetition.com), World Beer Competition (www.BeerCompetition.com), World Wines Competition (www.WinesCompetition.com) and World Beverage Competition (www.BeverageCompetition.com).
Several Media partners are being selected to offer in-depth coverage of the event, as well as publicity for the competition winners. The familiar stringent judging regimen of the World Beverage Competition and the global brand participation assure a year of excitement to come.
