Lord of the Harvest Party (October 31, 2007)

Chicago, IL, October 06, 2007 --(PR.com)-- My Father's House Foundation, a division of Akwanzagavana Educational Consulting will sponsor "The Lord of the Harvest Party" on Wednesday, October 31, 2007 for children ages 6-12 from 7-9:30 p.m. Online registration is required at www.myfathershouse333.org (Harvest Party). This is a great opportunity for your youth to have fun in a safe environment. In addition, they will learn about Harvest time--reaping and sowing. In addition, the students will be exposed to captivating stories that will be sure to thrill and excite the senses.

Children between the ages of 6 thru 12 are welcome to this free, community event. Parents must accompany children under 10 at all times. There will be many crafts and activities for you and your child to participate in, so come ready to reap a harvest of fun and wholesome activity.

The Lord of the Harvest Party takes place on October, 31, 2007, a day when Americans traditionally celebrate Halloween. While we won’t turn away youth who are dressed in costume, our aim is to focus on the original purpose of the season—and not myths. Moreover, Halloween traditional celebrates fear, trickery and deception.

Conversely, The Lord of the Harvest Party will celebrate, growth, increase, truth and light. Youth will be given the opportunity to prepare taffy apples and reap harvests. In addition, students will learn modern harvest songs to help them bring in their harvest.
