Penns Creek, PA, January 16, 2006 --(PR.com)-- In 1985 God spoke to a man named Barry Mason and told him to open a business. This business would produce children's songs, and stories to be used in all sorts of Child Ministry - Junior Church, Vacation Bible School, Kid's Bible Club, Summer Camps and Sunday School. With a $500 loan and a lot of creative ideas, the business was started. Its name - Penn View Visuals. Since then many things have happened, they now have over 50 of their own original songs, stories, Christmas programs, Vacation Bible School Themes, tapes and a host of other things. They sell to all 50 states and to more than 12 countries.
It is amazing when we think that our world is made up of primarily children and young people. 33% of the world, according to "The World Factbook 2000," CIA, USA is under the age of 14. In the largest city of the world, Mexico City we find that the average age is 14.2 with 62% of the population being 19 years old and younger, according to www.macalester.edu/geogbl//jpalmer/statistics.html. Those of us concerned about reaching our world for Jesus should realize that these statistics are alarming. If we plan on reaching our world we should be doing it through the children of this world. There is a song that says, "Jesus loves the little children, all the children of the world; red, brown, yellow, black and white they are precious in His sight. Jesus loves the little children of the world." Truly God loves all the children of the world, and it is our responsibility to tell them about Jesus.
This is where Penn View Visuals comes into play. As we try to reach the children, how are we going to accomplish this? We can do this through Sunday Schools, Junior Church, Kids Bible Clubs etc. However, it is a lot of work to plan these events. It is difficult to find new material for a new Junior Church, or Sunday School every week. Where do you find the information, new stories, new songs, and new themes?
