On a Mission to Energize the Workplace, Canadian-Based Juice Inc. Expands to U.S.
Deloitte: 77% of companies don’t have the skills to fix employee engagement.
Guelph, Canada, April 03, 2014 --(PR.com)-- As almost 80% of companies worldwide struggle to engage and retain their employees, Guelph, Ontario-based HR training and consulting firm Juice Inc. is expanding its Canadian operations to the United States.
With this strategic business move, Juice adds a refreshing new voice to an ongoing global movement calling for a more “humanized” workplace: one that energizes employees by creating environments where it feels good to work, where people get things done more efficiently, and business results flow.
Recent statistics explain organizations’ reticence to change. According to a global Deloitte report released in March 2014, 77% of organizations do not feel they have the adequate human resources skills to address their problems with employee engagement.
But managers and leaders wishing to truly rectify the issue must first make a mental shift beyond traditional engagement initiatives, says Alex Somos, co-founder of Juice Inc. “It’s no longer about managing engagement, but going beyond engagement to managing organizational energy. In doing so, companies can humanize the employee experience, which in turn will drive great customer experiences and produce real business results.”
Since 2003, Juice has provided practical skills, breakthrough tools, experiential learning and customizable training to help companies across a variety of sectors improve engagement, innovation and communication in the workplace.
While Juice already services companies in the U.S., the organization will attract a new roster of clients with a permanent office in Claremont, California.
“Juice isn’t just a business to us: it’s also a cause,” says Michael Torrie, who will run Juice Inc.’s operations in California. “Our mission is not only to improve and sustain employees’ desire to offer their best performance to employers—but to also allow them to have energy at the end of the day for their personal lives.
“We hope that as more people hear about us, they will find the Juice Inc. philosophy, our concepts and ideas refreshing, inspirational and invaluable to their bottom line.”
