Donald F. Garber, AIA, NCARB, Joins Francis Cauffman as Senior Healthcare Project Manager

Garber, AIA, NCARB, has joined the firm as Senior Healthcare Project Manager. Garber is an award-winning architect with over 30 years of experience in the design and project management of healthcare facilities improvement projects. Francis Cauffman is a national practice of 120 people with offices in New York, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C.

Garber’s portfolio includes a wide variety of high-quality work for prestigious healthcare clients, including the spa-like Holloway Breast Health Center at Main Line Health’s Paoli Hospital in Paoli, PA, and the Hamilton Wellness Center for Capital Health System in Hamilton, NJ. At Francis Cauffman, he’s currently managing projects at Geisinger Health System and Atlanticare.
Previously, Garber has worked at Ewing Cole Cherry Parsky, Cassway-Albert LTD., and Casaccio Architects in Havertown, PA, where he served as Design Director and Principal.
Garber’s work has been published in Healthcare Design, the Philadelphia Inquirer, and American School & University Magazine. His projects have been recognized with numerous awards, including the Honor Award for Design Excellence from the American Institute of Architects’ Philadelphia Chapter, first place in the Philadelphia Foundation for Architecture Competition, and inclusion in Healthcare Design’s Architectural Showcase in 2006. He has lectured at the University of Pennsylvania, Penn State University, and Syracuse University, among others.
Garber received a Bachelor of Science in Design from Clemson University and a Master of Architecture from Syracuse University. He is a registered architect.
