Wyldfire Fuels Up for Launch
San Diego, CA, April 04, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Wyldfire raises 100k in lightning round to make dating better for women.
Wyldfire (wyldfireapp.com), a new invite-only dating app, just gained considerable momentum by raising $100,000 in a six week lightning round from San Diego Angels and law firm, Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati.
“My Co-Founder and I simply noticed that dating apps that were out there right now were not all they could be. So, we started asking women what they wanted because let’s face it, women are the most important members of the network. Guys go where the girls are. After some extensive interviewing we found out that women wanted to feel more comfortable with the men they were talking to and to have more efficient conversations. Wyldfire accomplishes that and a whole lot more. We think women and men are going to love what we have created in Wyldfire,” says Brian Freeman, CEO of Wyldfire. With all of the imitation Tinder apps emerging on the market, Wyldfire stands out from the pack by solving four main problems associated with existing dating apps:
1. Women invite the men- More gentleman = better dates
2. Unique chat tools- Create more efficient and higher quality conversations
3. Statistical tracking- Provides realistic feedback to help monitor and adapt dating performance
4. Invites to Exclusive Events - Give users opportunities to meet in person and stay in the loop of their city’s social scene
This is just the beginning for Wyldfire. The second stage of fundraising started April 1st with a goal of $700,000. This round will be driven mainly by an AngelList campaign. The Wyldfire app is currently in beta, and is projected to launch in San Francisco by mid-April 2014. This Wyldfire team has high hopes for this new elite community trusting that women will take pride in building Wyldfire and men will brag about being invited.
