Kickstarter Project Just Established for the Fantasy Novel, “The Feather”
Author Frederick Fichman has just started a Kickstarter project for his upcoming fantasy novel, “The Feather.” The story for this novel will revolve around the Lewis and Clark Expedition, 1804-1806 The project with Kickstarter will provide funding for the research needed to make the detail of this novel complete and accurate.
Prescott, AZ, April 05, 2014 --(PR.com)-- A Kickstarter crowdfunding project has just been established for the upcoming novel, “The Feather” from author Frederick Fichman. This project start date was on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 and will run for 30 days until Friday, May 2, 2014. The purpose of the project is to help fund the detailed on-the-ground research required for the completion of this major work from Mr. Fichman.
“The Feather” will be a fantasy novel based on the Lewis and Clark Expedition, the Corps of Discovery, that began in 1804 and was completed in 1806. This history changing expedition was initiated by President Thomas Jefferson to help solidify the Louisiana Purchase which doubled the size of the United States during his first term in office as President.
Frederick Fichman’s novel will take the reader into the world of that expedition from the winter camp at Fort Mandan in North Dakota to the Pacific Ocean and Fort Clatsop near the present location of Seaside, Oregon. A detailed looked at what the Lewis and Clark Expedition encountered on that journey, how they lived and descriptions of the complexity of the personalities during that adventure will be described in the novel. The reader will get the feeling of “being there.” The novel Mr. Fichman is writing, “The Feather,” will explore a “What If” scenario through all the struggles that the Corps of Discovery encountered.
Author Fichman now has two dozen books on Kindle and other digital publishing websites with more manuscripts in the pipeline. He recently completely his three-book anthology, “The SETI Trilogy” and has a 12-volume book series, “Visit the Zoo” containing photographs and thumbnail sketches with background information of over 120 zoo animals.
