Darlene Faye Olson is a teacher (retired) of Language Arts and Speech/Theatre Arts, at Hastings High School in Hastings, Minnesota. Ms. Olson has a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education and a Master’s degree in Teaching from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. She also holds a Master’s degree in Aging and Health from Luther Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota. Ms. Olson specialized in Interpersonal Skills as well as public speaking, literature, theatre performance, singing, directing and writing. Ms. Olson is a member of the Communication and Theater Association of Minnesota, the Minnesota Speech Coaches Association, the American Alliance for Theatre and Education, the National Council of Teachers of English, the American Association of University Women, the Lutheran Association of Christian Educators and the Lutheran Education Association. In her leisure time, Ms. Olson enjoys singing and performing, theatre, ballet, reading and being active in her church.
