Wyndham Forensic Group Delivers DNA Seminar: From the Crime Scene to the Court Room

Guelph, Canada, April 10, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Wyndham Forensic Group, in collaboration with the Saint John Police Force, is delivering a forensic biology/DNA seminar this week addressing the current and emerging states of forensic biology and DNA testing, from the crime scene to the court room, and the role police play in maximizing its value in the criminal justice system.

"The seminar provides an opportunity for police officers to refresh and enhance their awareness of forensic DNA technologies, and the care and control required in collecting and preserving biological evidence that will undergo DNA testing" said Jack Laird, Vice-President of Wyndham Forensic Group. "It also provides an opportunity to review the significance and limitations of forensic DNA test results in the context of any given investigation."

The ongoing five-day program (April 7-11) for police, tailored to both crime scene officers and investigators, features a number of presentations from Wyndham Forensic Group as well as a number of guest speakers from the national and international forensic community. The event is being held in Saint John, New Brunswick.
