myGaze® Powers Mesa Ideas’ Eye Tracking Tablet for Assistive Users
Mesa Ideas chooses myGaze® gaze tracker by Visual Interaction to provide gaze control for AAC applications on their new MU15 Sagittarius tablet for assistive users.
Potsdam, Germany, April 09, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Visual Interaction, provider of easy to use and affordable gaze tracking and gaze based interaction solutions (www.mygaze.com), announced today that Mesa Ideas has chosen the myGaze® gaze tracking system for their uniquely designed all-in-one assistive communication device, the MU15 Sagittarius. The Italian technology company Mesa Ideas has integrated the myGaze® system into their new eye tracking tablet that runs the Grid 2 software to provide an immediate and convenient gaze access for a wide range of motion impaired users.
The light-weight carbon case of the MU15 Sagittarius has been designed to fit the myGaze® device in order to create a complete system for the user without the need for self-adjusting or manually connecting the eye tracker. The first batch of products has been shipped out at the end of last month.
Visual Interaction, the company behind the myGaze® Eye Tracker, shook up the assistive technology market last year with its strong performance at unmatched price tag. The myGaze® eye tracking system, known for its ease-of-use and affordability, works with a wide range of assistive software. This week the company also completed the upgrade of its online shop for affordable gaze tracking solutions to further simplify the order and fulfillment processes for its international distributors and business customers.
“Gaze control is critical for the users of our product and we have carefully evaluated reliability and performance levels at a competitive price. myGaze® and Visual Interaction stood out as the ideal partner for our new innovative AAC tablet,” says Mauro Sanna, CEO of Mesa Ideas s.r.l.
