TVS Global Media Adds New Roller Derby Shows to the TVS Sports Network
TVS Global Media, owner of the TVS Sports Network, will air new Roller Derby broadcasts from the American Roller Skating Derby in 2014. TVS outlets will include regional sports networks, broadcast stations, and IPTV based TVS "Micro Channels."
California City, CA, April 09, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The TVS Sports Network will be televising new episodes of American Roller Skating Derby games on regional sports cable networks, broadcast stations, and IPTV based TVS "Micro Channels" beginning in June. Founded in 1961, TVS is the fourth oldest commercial broadcast network in the USA.
Teams in the ARSD include the San Francisco Bay Bombers, Chicago Pioneers, Dallas Outlaws, Los Angeles Firebirds, Las Vegas High Rollers and the Brooklyn Red Devils.
Games are telecast from historic Kezar Auditorium, Pomona Fairplex, Antelope Valley (CA) Fairgrounds, and the New York Armory.
Roller Derby Games are announced by Los Angeles-based TV announcer Danny Wolf.
New programming featured on TVS Sports Network in 22014 includes ARSD Roller Derby, IWA Wrestling, NABL Basketball, Boxing Illustrated Boxing, and Challenge Cup Bowling. In all, TVS is producing 250 new programs in 2014.
Historically, TVS has produced and distributed NCAA Basketball, NCAA Football Bowl Games, NASCAR, IMSA, USAC, and Grand Prix auto racing; NASL Soccer, IWA Wrestling, LPGA Bowling, WFL Football, AIAW Championships, PRA Rodeo, NCBA Boxing, and AAWA Arm Wrestling for the past 53 years.
