Marcus & Millichap Brokers the Sale of Feather Sound Country Club, Clearwater, Florida

Steven Ekovich, Managing Director of the firm’s National Golf & Resort Properties Group and lead agent on the asset sale, represented the seller a well-known national owner and management company, Fore Golf. Fore Golf owns and operates over 40 courses nationally and in addition, acts as a third party fee management and consulting company. Fore Golf, one of the premier golf owner operators in the golf industry constantly evaluates each course and as a result is both active in acquisitions and dispositions. Ekovich stated that he is currently marketing a private course in Maryland for Fore Golf which has had significant interest to date. The buyer, Premier Club Holdings, LLC was new to the golf industry but was a major player in the insurance industry.
