Popsalot’s new production facility and full product line achieve highest industry standard of GF certification in partnership with Gluten Free Labs, International.
Beverly Hills, CA, April 10, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Popsalot Gourmet Popcorn is proud to announce that gluten free certification from GFS Laboratories International (GFSLI) has been awarded to its full line of all natural and handcrafted kettle corn, caramel corn and savory popcorn blends. Popsalot’s commitment to the gluten free community includes a company-wide decision to maintain the Popsalot kitchen as a dedicated gluten free facility.
Fresh legislation on gluten free packaging claims was solidified in August 2013; but the official FDA threshold of 20ppm may still be too high to help diagnosed celiacs avoid symptom-triggering levels of gluten exposure. GFSLI raises the bar on lowering risk with the only globally recognized certification that incorporates G12 Gliaden Antibody testing , effectively measuring gluten content to a threshold of 3ppm—an impressive 600% over FDA standards.
