Spending Ten Dollars Now – Could Save Thousands

Frankfort, ME, October 08, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Of lives, that is. The Independent Rescue Service of Frankfort, Maine is currently conducting a raffle in the hopes of raising much needed funds, so that they might still continue their mission of saving lives where help is needed.

The Independent Rescue Service, is an elite search and rescue squad, dedicated to their mission of saving every life when called out by state and local law enforcement agencies, by the Forestry Service, and even by FEMA and DHS in emergencies. Adrian Stone, director of the Independent Rescue Service, says, “Our motto is, ‘We risk ours to save yours’. Our volunteers devote their time and energy, in service to their fellow man out of the goodness of their hearts.”

But they can’t do it alone.

Currently, the Independent Rescue Service is conducting a $3000 raffle, to raise much needed monies for training, equipment, and volunteer support. A non-profit agency, the Independent Rescue Service is not affiliated with any government agency, and is completely reliant upon their volunteers and community members for support. The raffle is being limited to only 1000 tickets, sold at only $10 apiece. Prizes for the raffle include: One Grand Prize of $1000 cash; and Four First Prizes, including: One (1) $500 gift card to the Home Depot, One (1) $500 gas card to Exxon/Mobil, One (1) $500 gift card to L.L. Bean, and One (1) Prize of $500 heating fuel.
