TVS Global Media Signs Chicago Wrestling Superstar Bryce Benjamin to It's IWA Wrestling TV Roster
Local Chicago wrestling legend Bryce Benjamin is added to Michigan star "American Gigolo", and Mexican wrestling legend Discovery for the IWA Wrestling television program and live entertainment company.
California City, CA, April 11, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Bryce Benjamin, the Chicago based wrestling star currently in his 12th year of professional wrestling, has been added to the IWA Wrestling roster for it's TV shows and live events. The IWA is owned by TVS Global Media and is the original national wrestling company in the USA. The IWA began it's national program in 1975.
Benjamin, trained by Eric 'The Underwear Model' Priest, wrestles in both tag and single action for the Galli Lucha Libre Wrestling Company in Chicago. Galli Lucha Libre and American Sky Dojo from Michigan are the first two developmental wrestling groups to supply the IWA with their new roster of SuperStars.
Benjamin, a favorite of the ladies, dubs himself "1 Sexy Mofo". He is currently the longest running champion in Galli Lucha Libre history. "We are very proud to have Bryce Benjamin join the IWA," said IWA Commissioner Rodd Stowell. "Bryce has proven all that he can prove on a regional basis and now he gets his national showcase via the IWA."
Bryce Benjamin joins Michigan wrestler "American Gigolo", an international champion, and Mexican SuperStar Discovery as the first wrestlers named to the new IWA team. Several more will be named soon for the first TV tapings in Chicago in May.
The IWA original SuperStar wrestlers in 1975 included Mil Macaras, the IWA Heavyweight Champion, Rip Hawk, Dino Bravo, Gino Brito, Hacksaw Reynolds, Ernie Ladd, Argentina Apollo, Ivan Koloff, Tex McKenzie, Cowboy Bob Ellis, The Love Brothers, Bulldog Brower, Eric the Red, and The Mongols.
Mil Mascaras is still active and i still recognized by the IWA as their Heavyweight Champion, until he is defeated or he retires.
IWA Wrestling will be seen on the TVS Sports Network via cable TV networks, broadcast stations, satellite TV and IPTV based TVS 'Micro Channels'.
TVS cleared IWA Wrestling in more than 80% of the country in 1975-76, and then cleared national cable for the next two years.
The TVS Television Network is the fourth oldest commercial broadcast network in the USA. It was founded in 1961.
