Langwater Farm is Growing
Easton, MA, April 17, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The town of Easton, MA and the surrounding communities are about see even more local, certified organic produce from Langwater Farm as they announce the expansion of their business to include a section of property known as Wheaton Farm on Bay Road in Easton. As Langwater Farm enters their fifth growing season, owners Kevin, Kate & Rory O’Dwyer are thrilled to receive tremendous support from the community as the town and its residents support the movement to bring farming back to the area.
The farmers at Langwater are gearing up for spring with seedlings bursting in the greenhouse, transplants started in the fields and the first tilling underway at the new Wheaton Farm property. Langwater’s farm stand at 209 Washington St. (Rte. 138) in N. Easton will celebrate it’s opening for the season on Saturday, May 3rd. The farm stand will be stocked with fresh produce, vegetable plants and seeds for gardening and more. The farm stand is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. from May 3rd through December.
