Honorable Judge Theodore R. Essex to speak at International Intellectual Property Law Association (IIPLA) Annual Congress 2015

Essex will speak at International Intellectual Property Law Association (IIPLA) Annual Congress 2015 scheduled to be held during January 5 & 6 at Le Méridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Honorable Judge Essex served as an Administrative Law Judge at the Office of Medicare Hearings and Appeals in Cleveland, Ohio, from November 2006 until his United States International Trade Commission (USITC) appointment in October 2007. He previously served as a consultant to the Compensation and Pension Service of the Department of Veterans’ Affairs in Washington, DC, from 2005 to 2006.
The U.S. International Trade Commission is an independent, nonpartisan, quasi-judicial federal agency that provides trade expertise to both the legislative and executive branches of government, determines the impact of imports on U.S. industries, and directs actions against certain unfair trade practices, such as patent, trademark, and copyright infringement.
Judge Essex’s speech will address a large no. of delegates at IIPLA Annual Congress 2015 which will focus on “Accelerating International Intellectual Property Cooperation.” Intellectual Property is an integral part of any company and must not be condoned.
