Introducing Indigo Tongues by Iyalode Productions
Featuring Dynamic Personalities from Africa and the Diaspora
New York, NY, April 21, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Indigo Tongues is an exciting new interview series featuring trailblazers from Africa and the diaspora. The debut interview from the "Women in Media" series featured the award winning Nigerian TV hostess Funmi Iyanda, followed by Kenyan Filmmaker Wanuri Kahiu, Jamaica’s Leonie Forbes, Guadeloupe’s Marriette Monpierre and Nigerian-American Actress Adepero Oduye. Indigo Tongues will bring the inspiring voices of dynamic people from Africa and the diaspora onto one global platform online and on prospective media networks. The videos are available on the website.
These trailblazers have been recognized in their respective countries for contributing significantly in the development of their area of expertise. Indigo Tongues aims to put a face to these voices, explore their countries with them and get a peek into what it takes to make it happen being from the “developing world.” Soundtracks used will be from the personality's country, thereby showcasing a cultural expression of music and the arts from their roots.
