Rosalyn Kahn Inspires Belmont High School Women's Basketball Team
Rosalyn Kahn will addresses the women's basketball team on 4-22 at 2:30 pm to give a talk that discusses the mental mindset of a winning team. In this talk she plans to integrate stories from the legends of Magic and Bird all the way to contemporary teams of the LA Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers.
Los Angeles, CA, April 22, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Rosalyn Kahn, recent author of "Random Acts of Kindness are Changing the World," will be sharing her message with the women's basketball team at Belmont High. The women's team advanced to the playoffs which completed their season. Ms. Kahn offered to address the team and share some personal insights from her high school competitions days. She plans to give the students strategies to refocus their minds to convert last year's season to a stronger season in the new year.

Ms. Kahn has been a speaker in the past on Tedx Stage addressing “Language Come to Life.” which describes her experience taking her English as Second Language to the theatre to change the way they learn English. In the past year, Ms. Kahn was also a KeyNote Speaker for Key Club Kiwanis District Conference speaking to over 200 “Inspiring Tomorrow’s Leaders.” Doug Ridnor one of the advisor to the group said, “The moment I heard Rosalyn Kahn speak, I knew her story was one that our teens must hear!” Following the event his face was filled with sheer glee knowing he had made the right choice.
Two weeks ago, Ms. Kahn spoke to Ph Beta Kappa Honor Society at Santa Monica College her talk was “Using Initiative to Succeed in College. Pedro Gilberto a board member and volunteer director said, “We have never had a speaker who not only engaged the audience to listen, but had them raising their hand, writing down notes and responding to the speaker.” One other student, Ivette O’ Campo secretary for the Tedx Santa Monica scheduled for May 3rd stated, “Your delivery was so exceptional, I would love to have you come out and speak at our Tedx Conference on Campus.
Coach Mejia who oversees the women’s basketball was so taken back by her energy and enthusiasm following the event at SMC he was not only eager to have her address the basketball team but suggested he would like to have her come and address and speak to all sports teams.
