Comfort Keepers Elects Lori Eberly to National Advisory Council
Salisbury, NC, January 16, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Lori Eberly, owner of three Comfort Keepers locations in Salisbury, Statesville, and Lake Norman, has been elected to a two year term as the SouthEast regional representative for the National Advisory Council at Comfort Keepers, the number one senior care franchise in North America.
Ms. Eberly was chosen from among 470 Comfort Keepers franchisees throughout the country and will be one of 14 members on the council. Comfort Keepers is one the leading providers of in-home care for seniors and Eberly has been with Comfort Keepers for five years.
Each elected member will have the responsibility to listen and understand the perspectives and needs of fellow Comfort Keepers’ owners in their region. They will be instrumental in working with both the corporate headquarters and the local franchises to maintain unity in the franchising system.
Eberly is known in this area for her ongoing involvement in the community and assisting hundreds of families with their caregiving needs. “Helping families through the process of caring for an aging loved one is one of the primary reasons I became a franchisee for Comfort Keepers,” Eberly said. “With this new honor, I am fortunate to be able to communicate thoughts and ideas within the Comfort Keepers system to help continue to improve our client services across the country."
Ms Eberly has an undergraduate degree in Health Administration from Pennsylvania State University and a Masters Degree in Health Administration from the University of North Carolina. She is also a Certified Senior Advisor and is in the process of obtaining Geriatric Care Manager credentials. Eberly has owned the local Comfort Keepers franchise since 2001.
