Cooper Aerobics announces renovation plans for its 61-room, full service Cooper Hotel and Conference Center.
Dallas, TX, April 25, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Cooper Hotel Invites Guests to Stay Well in a Tranquil Modern Day Retreat
Cooper Aerobics announces renovation plans for its 61-room, full service Cooper Hotel and Conference Center. In February a $7.5 million renovation of Cooper Fitness Center Dallas was completed. The renovation of the Cooper Hotel and Conference Center is scheduled for completion this summer and represents the next phase of Cooper Aerobics’ multi-million dollar improvement plan. Cooper Hotel is open to the public and provides easy access to the health and wellness services Cooper Aerobics offers. Cooper Aerobics was founded in 1970 by Kenneth H. Cooper, MD, MPH, the ‘father of aerobics.’
“Along with diet and exercise, to be Cooperized, you must manage your stress effectively,” said Tyler Cooper, MD, MPH, CEO of Cooper Aerobics Enterprises. “My dad started a health and fitness revolution and now the renovation is helping prepare the next generation to make good health a habit. Cooper Hotel is the optimal location to de-stress and relax.”
Cooper Hotel is refreshing all 61 guest rooms, two of the 900-plus square foot meeting rooms, the outdoor pool area and corridors. The new carpet, paint, lighting and custom furnishings will transform the interiors, blending elegant sophistication with modern touches.
“We designed the spaces to be warm and calming, a place people can get away and unwind,” said Wanda Deener, President of Fourth Dimension Designs. “With Cooper Hotel’s classic charm as the foundation, we chose high-end fabrics and furnishings with timeless beauty and understated elegance.”
The renovated new look will also expand Cooper Hotel’s energy conservation and “green” initiatives. From the low VOC paint and wallcoverings made of recycled materials to upgrading all lighting to LED, the products and materials were purposely chosen to not only look beautiful but also create a healthier environment. Green Label Plus certified carpet will cover 5,854 square yards in Cooper Hotel.
“Recognized as an ENERGY STAR leader, we are always looking for ways to help our guests to stay well at Cooper Hotel,” said David Little, Vice President and General Manager of Cooper Hotel and Conference Center. “The renovation has allowed us to extend that commitment with new, ‘green’ materials.”
With an expected completion date of summer 2014, guests may obtain the latest updates on the Cooper Hotel renovation on the Cooper Aerobics Facebook page. For more information about Cooper Hotel and reservations, please call 972.386.0306 or visit cooperhoteldallas.com.
