Launched in 2009, the SMARTFormulator, designed by chemical and personal care industry executives, eliminates the use of Excel sheets, disparate applications, and use of complex technology solutions, tools that typically present inefficiencies within small to midsize laboratories. The latest major enhancements include:
SMART Estimator-A cost estimation & project feasibility tool takes into account all overhead costs and any charge back of any excess cost resulting from smaller quantity usage of an ingredient (like a fragrance) or any unused raw material cost charge back percentage to customer to estimate profitability and margins based on MOQ (Min. Order Quantity Cost Implications). This tool will provides cost implications on buying “excess raw materials” for fulfilling customer orders if a minimum order quantity (MOQ) is involved.
SMART MRP - Latest feature includes a pictorial representation of your order processing with a “Flow Diagram” with actionable buttons with an easy user friendly graphical interface. This allows the user to effortlessly figure out where in the workflow a customer order is within the whole scheme of batch production and manufacturing with complete inventory traceability and efficient fulfillment of customer orders to shipping and delivery and Invoicing your customer
